But, deafness is a defect.  You are not living an alternate lifestyle, your ears are broken.  I know, it probably sucks a lot and you have to rationalize it as something good in your screwed up head to keep on keeping on.  But you’ve got to let go of those insane rationalizations for a minute and realize this is your child and you want to fuck up their life.  They throw away all the broken toys at the toy factory, and as long as we’re dealing with fetuses there’s no reason not to do the same with humans.

Boy I sure take on the tough targets don’t I?  Take that deaf people!
